There is much spoken concerning the new year. We are in anticipation.
But does God put emphasis so much on the turning between 31st December and 1st January. I for one, would say yes and no.
Yes, if it falls within a Kairos change within the given kronos.
No, if it does not fall exactly.
We must qualify what we mean by the Kairos and Kronos, which are technical terms in theological areas.
Kronos: Kronos is physical time divided by hours, days, minutes, months and years.
Kairos: Kairos is a divine and spiritual season PREDETERMINED BY GOD to emphasize and teach a certain ASPECT AND DIMENSION OF TEACHING, AND BRINGING UNDERSTANDING TO A MOVE, HIS MODUS OPERANDII IN THE SPIRITUAL DIMENSIONS.
This is very very important to come into understanding of this.
I do believe that the Kairos is changing, about 2nd/5th January we may see this come into action.
There is a dimension of restitution about to be PERFORMED. I can see it, imagine it, that God is going to send a myriad of angels to restore the saints in many given areas…I think the relational and financial being the main areas to be covered. Relational as in broken relationships. And financial being the resourcing and family/church Body functioning in conditions to fulfil its obligations within the temporary dimension, called the world ironically.
I know many many ministers, including myself have had to confront these issues time and time again. They can sometimes consume us, beyond the Kingdom issues that we SHOULD be concentrating on. I say SHOULD but you know that when we are trying to look “for the city whose Maker and Architect is God” is not going to feed the kids at the end of the day is it?
This is a conundrum, how do I make sure that the MINISTRY IS NOT A MONEY MAKING EXERCISE, AND BE A SERVING VEHICLE FOR THE GLORY OF GOD?
This is something I have struggled with tremendously. How does the MINISTER PROVIDE? Simple God does provide at the measure the MINISTER PROVIDES FOR THE NEEDS OF THE SAINTS. But then, what if that is failing? I would say that healthy structures of distribution and healthy new approach to provision must be made.
Relationally, there is a great MISUNDERSTANDING. We fail to see that BEFORE GOD OUR SPIRITUAL STATE IS THE SAME AS EACH OTHER. We are all transitioning and we all are failing in various areas, and GRACE MUST COVER FROM THE VERTICAL AND MUST BE EXTENDED ALONG THE HORIZONTAL. I tell you that if not, the breaks in the wall are all too evident for the ENEMY to come in. I must first EXPERIENCE the revelation of the MERCY OF GOD to me then EXERCISE THAT SAME MERCY TO OTHERS. We must not be surprised in 2010 to have its same share of betrayals and misunderstanding.
I firmly reject that we are going to be floating through 2010 on a spiritual high and not experience setbacks. It is not going to be that way. HOWEVER, if we seek God sincerely we may avert some of those experiences. However we pray, if we pray for fruit, pruning back must come first. If we pray for prosperity we must experience the pain of poverty and the crucifixion of that to gain God’s heart for giving. The reason being we are all selfish at heart. If we pray for revival, do not be surprised at surfacing divisions and religious things in the most surprising places. We have sometimes FAILED TO REALISE THE CAUSE AND EFFECT IN PRAYER. What we pray has an effect which we most of the time FORGET and do not RECOGNIZE as being the direct effect of our cause of prayer.
I would also say that the Church is going to be as divided as ever, in that, the wicked will become more wicked, the righteous being made more righteous.
I also see some amazing signs and wonders coming.
I also see witchcraft within the Church be exposed. Much of the defeat and dryness in many places is the direct effect of wolves in our midst, hordes of them, praying against us, launching accusations, and laying stumblingblocks in our paths. There is going to be MASS RALLIES OF DELIVERANCES in many places. We are going to see some pastors with some of those tendencies there too.
So to conclude 2010 is going to be a BETTER year, a year of great advances, if we keep intercession and worship in our lives in their place.
