Moving onto a New Well

In Genesis 26 we see an Isaac moving in his promises in the covenant God made with Abraham. The one thing that strikes me concerning the wells, is how he struck water every time.
Our prayer must be Lord manifest your covenant so that water in a time of famine may flow.
Very often envy and jealousy follows our manifestation of God’s covenant in our lives. People want it at any price. They seize it from us. I know one fact that Jacob also opened wells, and Jesus talked to the woman opening up spiritual and timeless truths.
Isaac did not mourn loss, instead he moved on, dug another well and God blessed him again. On the third attempt God gave him rest.
We need to pray that God gives us rest too. That God give us His Ever Living water by His Covenant.

Shalom

Yes, persistence in prayer is what gives us open water-filled wells in the Spirit that refresh and revive us. Praise God!
